Ordered it now. I've been alcohol free for 3 1/2 years. I am very successful and hid in plain site. I hate the person that I was though and totally understand the hard part of self forgiveness. Please tell Rex there will be nothing but love coming from me. I have lost family members due to addiction and am trying to help another overcome his right now. I know this book will help others. I follow him on twitter and admire his courage. From a fellow human and basketball fan.

Whatever…

A pill-popping criminal that uses X regularly to espouse left-wing, anti-Trump, conspiracy trash.

He’s basically a basketball version of Ryan Leaf, with the exception that Leaf isn’t using X to be a constant divisive force.

What did you wish to a achieve by your commenting on this post? I hope you can leave this type of negativity out of your life moving forward, because otherwise, I'd guess you may be a rather sad and negative person. And if you're not, then it's even more puzzling why you'd choose to come here and leave such a miserable little comment. Try and do better, because you, and those around you, will all appreciate it. I'll be rooting for you, just like I root for Rex Chapman.

Because someone needs to expose this fraud for who he really is. Do you have any idea the damage and divisiveness he has caused by all his erroneous Twitter posts?

Chapman is the “miserable”, “negative” person and Davis giving him this ridiculous platform makes him culpable as well.

That is quite the opinion. However, I believe that it is in the minority, judging by both the opinions here, and elsewhere, that value Rex's voice on college basketball, and ever increasingly, on politics and life. As for "damage and diviseveness he has caused by all his erroneous Twitter posts," you may be both ascribing him more real-life power-and-influence (say, the ability to write/change laws) then he actually has, AND calling "fact" which are only opinion. That said, I tend to very much agree with most of Mr. Chapman's opinions and wish more of them were, indeed, facts. The country, and most, if not all of us, would be better for it.

I'm happy to admit when I'm mistaken, and Rex seems quite comfortable admitting his errors as well, so please, what are a few of these erroneous twitter posts you refer?

Curious what opinions you agree with.

The vast majority. For starters, his current opinion that colleges, at least D-1 schools, should pay athletes directly and recognize they're employees.

That’s fine, but then take away the free education they’re getting via scholarship.

However, given everything going on over the past 4 years that’s a petty hill to die on.

For me, it’s his constant (and erroneous) anti-Trump, anti-police tweets plus him being a mouthpiece for big pharma is enough for me to know who he is.

He strikes me as not very astute.

One Friday night, I was driving off the bypass, returning home, after driving four and a half long hours, across Kentucky, mostly in the dark. I coasted to a stop, waiting for an exit to Frederica Street. The car in front of me was an electric blue IRoc, license plate, "I Rex." I wondered who was driving that hot car, could it be..that boy who had the world by the tail. This same young man fought his way through adulthood, and he will make a difference with this book. Make no mistake who is driving the car now, Rex. Thanks Seth for helping to forge this story.

Dear Seth, thank you for being such a good friend to Rex and helping him bring this book into the world. I am looking forward to reading it. I hope the process has brought him some much needed healing. The human journey is often fraught with challenges no matter who you are. It means so much that he is willing to share his darkest times and biggest vulnerabilities with the rest of us. I’ve seen some of his recent interviews about the book and I see an extremely courageous & and selfless human being. I am sure it’s not easy for him, but he does it anyway in the pursuit to help others whom he may never meet. Sending lots of love to Rex and to you too!

Really appreciate your collaboration to make a positive impact on the world through the written word. ♥️🙏😘

I don’t agree with everything Carlson says (by a long shot), but I like to hear all sides.

His interview with Mike Benz is really interesting. Well worth a listen.

Peace.

I love that you did this with Rex … I’m a UK fan by birth and love Rex by choice … my son won a “Camper of the Week” award at Rex’s basketball camp many years ago and I still cherish the Charlotte Hornets basketball shoes he won! Pre ordered and ready to go!
