Today I launch my Substack newsletter. College basketball, sports, meditation, storytelling -- whatever I feel like writing, whatever you feel like reading.
Seth, have you ever considered bundling with Eamon Brennan or Jeff Goodman or some of the other top folks and doing a joint Substack?
I know it's funny we've gone from bundling everything to unbundling, but I do wonder if the market will ever just pay for, "Hey let's get the three best folks not at national outlets and have them write together."
This will be a great forum to read your thoughts but I'd like to hear what you have to say about other sports as well. Once the tournament ends perhaps your readers can read about your closet love the great sport of hockey during the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
Excellent article on Wake’s coach Steve Forbes and the story of his wife’s stroke and continuing recovery. Forbes is doing a terrific job at Wake, and despite Wake’s high academic standards and difficulties with accepting transfers, he’ll have the program making frequent trips to the dance. Go Deacs and best wishes to Mrs. Forbes!!
Excited to see this!

Welcome to the Substack SportSphere, Seth! One thing that surprises a lot of us is just how nice everyone is here...it's a nice change of pace.
Good for you!
Wishing you the very best
Free to be you and me!
