UConn ruined my Saturday. I was all excited to watch the top-ranked Huskies engage in a riveting, titanic battle with No. 4 Marquette. Instead, to quote my buddy Charles Barkley, UConn beat ’em like they stole something. For a while now we’ve been talking about Purdue and UConn separating themselves from the field. Now it feels like UConn is separating from that separation.
When a team beats another by 28 points, there’s not a whole lot of analyzing to do. My favorite numbers from the box score are UConn’s 24 assists on 29 made field goals. According to KenPom.com, the Huskies are assisting on 62.7 percent of its field goals,
