After working in stealth for a few months, earlier today I launched Hoops HQ, a full-scale media company devoted to serving hard-core college basketball fans like you. I will be reporting and writing consistently like always, but as Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief, I am also responsible for assembling a staff and overseeing all aspects of our content production. I’ve already assembled a 5-star roster that will grow significantly over the coming months and years. Eden Laase will head up our women’s coverage, which will be supplemented by Hall of Fame broadcaster Debbie Antonelli. We’ve also hired Alex Squadron as our staff writer and Daniel Saied as our social media editor (Hoops HQ is already up on X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Discord). Beyond that, we will have a lengthy roster of contributors. Unlike so many sports media companies, which only seem to be interested in college basketball for three-and-a-half weeks each year, we are going all in on college basketball, all the time, 12 months a year.
